Taqueria Arandas in San Antonio

Been coming here for years. Since I was a child, actually. The best enchiladas. The best asada. The best guisada and last but not least, the best chips and salsa!!

Food had no flavor and my to go instructions said no beans and they gave beans anyway.

Service is very rude when they get the order wrong they try to overcharge as well and cannot understand the simplest English. When you go to tell them that the order is wrong you get attitude. The incompetence at this restaurant is insane if you have someone working they should be able to speak fluent English as well. I'm pretty sure to bacon egg and cheese with crispy strips of bacon and one chorizo egg and cheese should not have been such a difficult order. There is a better taco place right down the road

Flour tortillas are good, food is fresh. Plenty of tables available. The service is good.

GOOD TACOS ! ! ! I've never been in the restaurant. Just the drive thru window to pick up tacos & stuff. Nice, big, fat breakfast tacos. Started giong there 'bout a week or so since La Mechelada Restaurant was closed down cuz tbe owner sold it to a developer. I miss that place and I'm praying for all the workers there who were left without jobs . . .

Affordable, good Mexican (Tex-Mex) food. Great homemade chips and tortillas. It's a hole-in-the-wall type place, but clean. Never had any problem here. It's one of my favorites in the area, and my family goes here often (for almost 10yrs now). There's a drive-thru which makes it perfect for breakfast taco runs or to grab lunch on the way home. Good prices and people. Consistent quality and service. The picture I included is the Burrito Jalisco (guisada) with rice and beans.

Fast service on a Friday. Used the drive thru to order 2 beef fajita tacos with avacado and a bean n cheese. One car ahead of me took 5 minutes from order till I had the food. Tasted pretty good.

This place is delicious BUT the past 3 times I've gone at 6am thry forget something. First 2 times are my fault for not checking but the third time I pulled to the side to check and they forgot to give me 4 tacos. I went around the drive through and explained to them what happen and they refused to give me the 4 tacos that I PAID FOR saying they did give them to me so I had to pay for the other 4 and I also gave me a hassle when I asked for the refund.

I ordered the tbone plate loved it very tender plate well served the the right amount portions of beans and rice including the salad served on my.... And t very delicious I asked for half and half and I will serve to exactly what I asked for

Wow! We literally stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for the Thai restaurant. Lucky for us. If you want an authentic Mexican restaurant this is the place. We had amazingly huge portions of food for very reasonable prices. Quick service and friendly wait staff. Don't be fooled by the dumpy exterior.

Found this place by chance. Great breakfast tacos. Homemade tortillas and at a great price.

I was so pleased when this place was added to DoorDash. The carne guisada is so tender and full of flavor! My plate also came with the best freshly cooked green beans I’ve ever tasted.

My food was awful. I don't know what happened. But the carne guisada was dry and tough. DISAPPOINTED!!!

Very good tea and food was good, not great but good. Cost is low.

Ordered a shredded chicken burrito With beans and chhese; with side of pico and guac and no sour cream; chocoflan for dessert. The charge for a side of pico is laughable, at best. Came in a crumbled up ball of tin foil and is such a small amount I finished it in two chips with my own salsa. Their salsa tastes more like ragu spaghetti sauce. My chicken burrito somehow transformed itself into a beef burrito. I’m allergic to sour cream so I requested no sour cream... and low and behold - sour cream in my burrito. Requested cheese... no cheese. Best part, no chocoflan.Thanks for getting a simple order right for delivery... but I guess its easier when people can’t complain to your face. Save money that way when you’re not having to remake something you screwed up on.

My neighbor came home today and told us that he had ordered from some “tacoria horanda “ place😂. Obviously he couldn’t pronounce it so I googled it. When I showed him the picture he just lowered his head and shut his eyes. I decided to read the reviews and give it a try. I was a little hesitant to go and dine in due to the service from the reviews so we just placed an order online. They got all of our food right, our condiments right plus some, the fresh homemade tortillas were to die for!! The menudo, 🤤WOW!! I got a little emotional people. I’ve never written a review like this before. Never!! I haven’t been back home in years. Finding some authentic Mexican food here in Texas is hard to come by. When I ate some of that menudo, I was reminded of home, New Mexico. Thank you. Thank you for putting heart into your food. Will definitely be going back!!

Not a fan of the crispy tacos, they had no flavor comparing them to some I had at Las Palmas which were great. Pricing was a bit high for my liking especially when the food did not taste worth what I paid. Probably won't go back.

Great place!!! Absolutely love it!!! I've been ordering their bean and cheese tacos since i was a 15 yrs and now 34 yrs old they are still my favorite!!! Truly a home away from home!!!

Have had taco in the morning and they were always good and packed. This morning went for brunch and ordered breakfast plates and they were huge and so reasonable. Super nice staff loved our server Marce. She made a point to speak to me in English when she realized I do not speak Spanish even though she was more comfortable in Spanish and did speak to my spouse in her native language but always addressing me in English and smiling we will be back and requesting her if we can. The staff was all friendly and smiling and told everyone hello just very welcoming and loving atmosphere and the food was great

This place has authentic mexican food. The rice is amazing. Really good sweet tea and the prices are perfect especially if your on a budget. I highly recommend!!

Would of gave five stars because the food was delicious BUT i am huge on customer service and let me just say the service was horrible. Had three different servers bring us our order at completely different times and not once did anyone ever come back to check up on us or ask if we needed a refill NOTHING.

Wen in they take my order an waiting for 35 min no food ask waitress she blames another one an I new it was her after 10 more minutes she found the order she didn't apologize or nothing so I left they didn't care but we'll she was just rude
